Cold Creek
 (3,600')

"Cold Creek" refers to an unincorporated valley community thirty minutes north of Las Vegas on US 95. "Cold Creek" centers around Cold Creek Pond and the Cold Creek Volunteer Fire Station recently established in the mid 1980s. A collection of dirt roads and residential streets sit just out of sight from the highway, and at last count, a total of 1,900 residents lived in and around the area. The place of Cold Creek has always been just a point of reference in between Indian Springs and North Las Vegas, but it's close proximity to the city and scenic setting has since attracted HOAs and other property buyers to this relatively hidden oasis.

Take US 95 north out of Las Vegas and look the "Cold Creek" (paved) turnoff in between Lee Canyon and Indian Springs. Turn left at this road past the prisons to "Cold Creek," located at the foothills of the Spring Mountains. The area is quite beautiful with a mix of Joshua Tree, Juniper, and low-elevation alpine scenery. Most people visit Cold Creek to fish at the ponds near the town limits. Cold Creek is all residential with many HOA areas so please respect all "Private Property" signs you'll see posted, especially along the watercourse.
